Maximum vibration and maximum depth are what the VERTREX MAX is all about. The deep body profile combined with finely tuned internal weights delivers a soft vibration bait that sinks level and has huge body vibration when lifted. This allows you to get down to the fish faster and allows a more lifelike presentation when you get there. The Vertrex features a full wire internal construction for extra strength and is fitted with the ultimate BKK hooks so you can fish it straight out of the box.

The Vertrex Max 130 & 150 are incredibly effective for all Snapper species, Grouper, Yellowtail, Striped Bass, Cobia, Kingfish, Bluefish, Roosterfish, Tuna and just about any other species found over reefs in 50-300ft of water.

They can be fished in a similar way to a slow pitch jig in depths from 50ft-300ft of water. The best technique is to drop them to the bottom and then use 3-10 slow lifts with a short pause off the bottom to get it vibrating on the lift and then as it glides back down on the drop it will often get hit. They can be worked fast or slow but the Vertrex Max is has huge vibration at slow speeds making it highly effective for this technique.

The Nomad Slow Pitch Jig Rods are designed specifically to work vibes and they feature a slightly slower taper rod and a tip with more backbone to impart more action to the vibe. Traditional soft tipped slow pitch jig rods are not ideal for working vibes.
