The Avanti® Oyster Knife breaks open oysters with ease. This style of oyster knife is popular amongst restaurant chefs. It features a short thin stainless steel blade that easily slides between the shells, creating very little damage and limiting the amount of grit that gets into the oyster. The black handle has a flared guard that protects fingers and thumb from nasty oyster cuts. Easy-to-use, insert the tip of the blade into the hinge. Point it downwards in the cup of the oyster. Use a twisting motion to separate the top and bottom shells. You should feel the hinge pop when you twist the knife.
It is illegal to sell knives to persons under the age of 18 in Western Australia.
In accordance with the Weapons Act 1999 (WA) and amendments introduced under the Police Legislation Amendment Act 2024, we are committed to ensuring compliance with all legal obligations regarding the sale of edged weapons, including camping and fishing knives.
All Knife orders are CLICK & COLLECT
Proof of Age Requirements
Upon collection all customers purchasing knives must present valid government-issued photo identification (e.g., driver’s licence, passport, or WA photo card) as proof of age and identity.
We reserve the right to cancel any transaction (and refund the purchaser the full amount less any merchant or third party payment provider fees) and withhold delivery if valid proof of age is not provided, or if we reasonably suspect that a knife may be supplied to a minor.
Responsible Use Statement
Knives are supplied by us solely for lawful, practical purposes such as camping, fishing, or outdoor activities. We do not condone or support the misuse of knives or their promotion as weapons.
